AJWAIN SEEDS AS CAPPING AGENT FOR Bi2O3 NANOFLAKES: SYNTHESIS AND GROWTH INHIBITING EFFICIENCY OF BACTERIA
نویسندگان
چکیده
Objective: This work is mainly focused to determine the antibacterial activity of green synthesized Bi2O3 nanoparticles against bacterial strains, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli using resazurin as indicator.
Methods: Bismuth oxide were from precursor bismuth nitrate [Bi (NO3)3.5H20] by trachyspermum ammi (ajwain) seed extract. To carry out these works, NPs undergone characterizations confirmed UV-Vis, FT-IR, XRD, SEM EDAX, TGA-DTA DLS. Biological was done a well diffusion method.
Results: NP's has been tested bacteria (S. E. coli) in wells shows blue colour, indicating growth inhibition dose-dependent manner for different concentrations.
Conclusion: The biological studies with one gram-positive gram-negative show inhibiting efficiency. showed good anti-bacterial (different concentrations) S. coli.

Synthesis and Charactrization of Au Nanocomposits by Green Capping Agent: Pomegranate juice For Antibacterial Activity
Objective(s): In this work, pomegranate juice was used as a capping agent for self- assembly to form particles-like Au nanostructures in the presence of AuHCl4.3H2O as aurate source. Besides, to investigate the concentration effect of pomegranate juice as the green capping agent on the morphology and particle size of final products several experiments were...
متن کاملGreen Synthesis and Characterization of Bi2O3 Nanorods as Catalyst for Aromatization of 1,4-Dihydropyridines
Bismuth oxide (Bi2O3) nanorods was prepared via one pot sol-gel method using Bi(NO3)3.5H2O and starch (as template) in water under hydrothermal condition followed by calcination at 320˚C within 3 h. The resultant solid product was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetry (TGA), and FTIR techniques. Based on the obtained results, the formatio...
متن کاملProspects for Success in Inhibiting the Growth of Multidrug-resistant Bacteria with Paromomycin
Streptomyces is the most important bacterial genus known to produce secondary antibiotic compounds. Considering the speed of bacterial resistance spread, it becomes more important to study less used compounds. Aminoglycosides disrupt the function of the target microorganism by acting on the protein-synthesis process. Paromomycin is an aminoglycoside that acts on a wide range of gram-positive, g...
